Keio University, The Faculty of Economics PEARL Programme

I am majoring in The Faculty of Economics PEARL (Programme in Economics for Alliances, Research and Leadership) Programme at Keio University and hope to contribute to education in Vietnam in the future through what I have acquired in the University. I am from a small province in Vietnam and the first in my family to attend university. As someone who has been in that situation, I hope that students in similarly difficult circumstances will have the opportunity to grow in a comprehensive educational environment.

One of the Japanese people I admire most is Yukichi Fukuzawa, the founder of Keio University and a renowned reformer. In my university life, I would like to inherit the advanced education that Yukichi Fukuzawa laid the foundation for, and in the future, establish a scholarship fund for vulnerable children in Vietnam, just as the Fast Retailing Foundation did for me. I intend to gain solid experience in Japan to convey the value of education to underprivileged children in Vietnam.
